Salmon and caper sauce.
- 4 salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden crust. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and lemon juice. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer. Let it simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
Add the capers and fresh parsley to the sauce. Stir well.
Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes in the sauce to heat them through.
Serve the salmon with the caper sauce drizzled over the top. You can garnish with extra chopped parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
This salmon and caper sauce recipe is a delicious and keto-friendly option for a satisfying meal. Enjoy!
