Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, and oregano to create a seasoning blend.
Place the chicken breasts on a baking sheet or in a baking dish. Drizzle them with olive oil and rub it over the chicken to coat evenly.
Sprinkle the seasoning blend over the chicken breasts, making sure to cover both sides.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and is no longer pink in the center.
If you'd like the chicken to have a crispy, golden exterior, you can broil it for a couple of minutes at the end of the baking time.
Once done, remove the baked chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
