Keto Turkey and Avocado Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Romaine lettuce leaves
- 1 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt (for topping, optional)
- Salsa (for topping, optional)
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until it's browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
Season the turkey with garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and let it cook for a few more minutes.
Wash and separate the romaine lettuce leaves, then pat them dry.
To assemble the wraps, place a spoonful of the seasoned ground turkey in the center of a lettuce leaf.
Top the turkey with slices of ripe avocado, diced tomatoes, diced red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese (if desired).
If you like, you can add a dollop of sour cream or Greek yogurt and a spoonful of salsa as toppings.
Carefully fold the lettuce leaf around the filling to create a wrap.
