Keto Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients:

For the Beef:

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced into strips
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil or other keto-friendly cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup beef broth or water
  • 1/4 cup coconut aminos (or soy sauce if not strictly keto)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

For the Broccoli:

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients: beef broth (or water), coconut aminos (or soy sauce), minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil. Set the sauce aside.

  2. Season the sliced flank steak with salt and pepper.

  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until it's browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and the broccoli florets. Stir-fry the broccoli for about 4-5 minutes until it's tender-crisp.

  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the broccoli.

  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and broccoli. Stir to combine and simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and the beef is heated through.

  7. Serve your Keto Beef and Broccoli hot over cauliflower rice or on its own.

  8. Enjoy your flavorful and low-carb Beef and Broccoli!

This recipe provides a delicious keto-friendly version of the classic Beef and Broccoli, using coconut aminos instead of soy sauce and serving it without rice or noodles to keep it low-carb.
