Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons flour (for thickening)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, minced garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and shape into oval patties.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the patties on both sides until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove patties and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Add sliced onions and mushrooms, sauté until softened.
In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, tomato paste, and flour until well combined. Pour the mixture into the skillet with onions and mushrooms. Stir continuously until the sauce thickens.
